Oualie
The name ‘Oualie’ is the native name given to the island of Nevis, by the Kalinago (also known as the ‘Island Caribs’ or ‘Caribs’) indigenous people of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. Oualie means “land of beautiful waters” as the island is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea on the west coast and the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast. Nevis, the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, is the island on which Otencia, the Owner and Managing Director of Oualie Business Solutions was born and raised.
